Bio

Matthew Marschner is an experienced freelance Lighting Cameraman/DOP based in London UK but I work wherever I'm needed.

When I'm not working on filming assignments you'll find me travelling with my stills camera and sketch book, keeping fit, messing  around in boats, trying to relearn French, cooking for friends and spending time with my family.

Expertise

I am an experienced Lighting Cameraman/Director of Photography with a  strong and diverse track record of working with major broadcasters and production companies across all genres of programme making. With 30 years experience within the television and Film Industries I can bring not only confidence, but also a huge creative and technical expertise to the productions I am engaged on. More recently I've been applying my broadcast standards to new media projects like Facebook live events. For me it's collaborating as part of team to  achieve really effective communication with the audience that still gives me a real buzz. I work with all the current digital cinema and broadcast cameras and own a full broadcast shooting kit based around my Sony FX9 camera.
